Please read this entire page carefully — it contains important steps required for your check-in. This is a boat stay — please follow the steps below to ensure a smooth arrival.
Your stay begins with a short boat ride out to your private Tiki Suite on the waters of Key West. Ship 2 Shore Key West, LLC is the business that provides on-the-water services in the local area including shuttle transportation to boats anchored in the harbor. To find out about available times, get directions and book your trip, visit this booking link:
They offer both private shuttle rides and more affordable shared (general seating) rides, so you can choose what works best for your trip. Just keep in mind—private rides need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance, and shared rides must be booked at least 2 hours ahead of time and no later than 3:00 PM on the day of your trip. Don’t wait until the last minute—rides can fill up, and if they do, you may not be able to get out to your Tiki at all. They offer us a 50% discount for the people staying at Tiki Suites in Key West.
When booking your tickets, you’ll need to enter the following details:
Think of your shuttle like a flight—plan to arrive early, as the boat leaves right on time. If you miss it, you’ll need to purchase another ticket. And if you’re driving down from Miami, be sure to add at least 2 extra hours to your travel time to account for traffic and delays along the way.
A boat rental agreement must be completed, by law, in order to stay on this tiki boat and we will email you a digital version a few days before your stay, which can be completed entirely online. This form must be completed before 6:00 pm the day before you check in. Please provide us with a valid email address so we can send the agreement to you.
In addition to the boat rental agreement, Florida state law also requires the person renting a boat to possess a Boating Safety Card while on the boat, if the person was born after 1987 (persons born prior to 1988 are grandfathered out of this requirement). We will need to have a picture of either the card or driver’s license (if a card is not required) in order for you to check in. There are 2 exceptions to this law:
1) You are accompanied by another passenger who already has this card or who is exempt from needing one
2) You have a Merchant Mariners Credential issued by the US Coast Guard or a Boating Safety Card issued by another approved state course
If you don’t already have a card and need to get one, this website can save you quite a bit of time and money by taking the shorter test to get a temporary card for boat rentals:

Remember, the rental agreement and safety card are both requirements by law so we can not be flexible about them, and if they are not completed you will forfeit your reservation.
